    In today’s Business Dialog, Harry is looking for his boss, Marilyn.

    When he asks Carol, Carol uses the expression “I’m not sure” to show her uncertainty.

Harry:    Do you know where she is?

Carol:    I’m not sure.

Gary:    Harry asks again, and Carol uses the word “might” to suggest some possibilities of where Marilyn might be.

Harry:    Do you have any idea where she could be?

Carol:    Well, she might be with a customer.

    She said that Sid from Corona Dot Com might come by.

Gary:    Later in the conversation, Carol uses the expressions “I think she said something about...” and “I’m pretty sure that...” to show her uncertainty.

    Let’s listen:
